Our story

The Sukkasemhathai family

Wilacha Chiang Rai was founded by Wilawan and Suvicha of the Sukkasemhathai family.

The hotel's name is an abbreviation of their names, and its logo features three mountains, symbolizing their three sons. Additionally, the breakfast menu showcases the homemade flavors of Grandma Kanjana, the beloved grandmother of the Sukkasemhathai family.

Every aspect of the hotel reflects a part of the family, and we hope you'll feel the warmth, hospitality, and home-like atmosphere that define the “Wilacha” experience.

The heart of the kitchen

Grandma Kanjana's table

Every morning at Wilacha begins with the homemade recipes of Grandma Kanjana, the beloved grandmother of the Sukkasemhathai family. These are the dishes the family grew up on. Now set out, fresh, for every guest.

Breakfast here is a genuine point of pride. Not a perk. A welcome.
